So proud to have a couple of my songs featured in this documentary about Fred Rogers.  Check out the links below, and watch the doc on PBS or get it from amazon or itunes.
I promise it will make you want to be a better person….and that’s about as good of an endorsement as I can give anything.

ilow:

Fred Rogers is my hero, and Casey Shea is one of my favorite people in the world. This is amazing

thefamilyrecords:

We couldn’t be prouder to announce that the documentary “Mr. Rogers & Me,” about the life and impact of everyone’s favorite neighbor, Fred Rogers, was released on DVD this week.  Why are we excited about this?  Aside from the obvious fact that everybody in their right mind loves Mr. Rogers, our very own Casey Shea has 2 songs featured in the movie!  “The World Is Waking Up!” and “Love Is Here To Stay” from the album of the same name contributed to the soundtrack.
Read a beautiful New York Times piece about the film right here.
Find “The World Is Waking Up!” and “Love Is Here To Stay” at the Family Records Store.
Get the scoop and watch the trailer at the film’s website.
Get the DVD from Amazon
Download the movie from iTunes
Keep an eye out for the doc on select PBS stations this month (check local listings).

Casey’s stage persona is equal parts James Brown, Elvis Presley, and Bono…but then comes the surprise, etched in cursive on the head of a pin. Listen closely, and the songs are beautiful, heartfelt, and wrenching.” – MTV News
